GEX Electrical – Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your relationship with GEX Electrical (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) when you engage our electrical contracting services. By using our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Services Provided
GEX Electrical provides a range of electrical contracting services, including but not limited to, installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical installations.
2. Estimates and Quotations
2.1 All estimates and quotations provided by GEX Electrical are based on the information provided by the client.
2.2 Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
2.3 Any changes to the scope of work may result in a revised estimate.
3. Appointments and Scheduling
3.1 Appointments for services will be scheduled based on mutual availability.
3.2 Cancellations or rescheduling must be notified at least 24 hours in advance.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Payment terms are outlined in contracts or invoices.
4.2 We accept payments by BACS to the account listed on invoices.
5. Materials and Warranties
5.1 All materials used will be of professional-grade quality.
5.2 GEX Electrical provides a warranty for workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of completion.
5.3 Manufacturer warranties apply to all materials and products used.
6. Liability and Insurance
6.1 GEX Electrical is fully insured for public liability and indemnity.
6.2 We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services.
6.3 Our liability for any claim related to our services will be limited to the amount paid by the client for those services.
7. Client Responsibilities
7.1 Clients must ensure that the work area is safe and accessible for our technicians.
7.2 Clients must ensure appropriate inductions have taken place.
8. Health and Safety
8.1 Our technicians follow strict health and safety guidelines.
8.2 We reserve the right to refuse or suspend work if we believe there is a safety risk.
9. Termination
9.1 Either party may terminate the contract for services with 14 days notice.
9.2 Termination does not affect any accrued rights or obligations including the obligation to pay for services already provided.
10. Changes to Terms
GEX Electrical reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or notification to clients.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
